ABOUT NUCHIA

The Hartsden Corporation a Florida, USA, company and parent company to Nuchia, Inc. will start production of Chia, salvia hispanica L, in the summer of 2007.  Nuchia will grow chia in the Republic of Haiti. Nuchia successfully planted test crops in the fall of 2006.  The grain produced in great abundance and with a high oil content.
In the spring of 2007, Nuchia will show a modest expand of crop production while it continues to acquire farm lands.  Wholesalers and other industry leaders will receive grain samples and nutritional analysis from this expansion in September of 2007.  The first full production crop will be January 2008. Industry wholesalers and other bulk order customers will be Nuchia’s target market.

More than 1,000 acres of fertile land conducive for chia production has already been made available to Nuchia for grain production.  The company’s goal is to have 2000 acres under cultivation with chia by Fall 2009.
